David Thomas unterstützte die kollaborative humanitäre Mission zwischen HART und der Mende Nazer Stiftung im Sudan im Januar 2016.

Er ist seit 12 Jahren der Projekt- und Logistikkoordinator der Internationalen NGO, HART (Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust), und arbeitet eng mit Baronin Cox zusammen. In seiner Tätigkeit hat er die Nuba-Berge schon öfter besucht. Erstmals im Jahr 2007. Seine größte Freude ist „… die wunderbare Kreativität, Unabhängigkeit, Energie und Intelligenz der einheimischen Partner zu kommunizieren und zu unterstützen.“ Er war über 30 Jahren Priester der anglikanischen Kirche, von denen er 20 Jahre als Kaplan in der königlichen Marine war.

David Thomas graciously agreed to help Mende after a collaborative humanitarian mission between HART and The Mende Nazer Foundation in Sudan during January 2016.

He is the Projects and Logistics Coordinator of the International NGO, HART (Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust) where he has worked with Baroness Cox for 12 years. In that work he has visited the Nuba Mountains many times, first in 2007. His greatest pleasure is “…communicating (and assisting) the wonderful creativity, independence, energy and intelligence of indigenous partners on the ground, people who are not going to ‘lie down and die’, nor are they going to let their people do so.” He enjoys communicating by word and drama. He has been a priest of the Anglican Church for over 30 years of which 20 years were as a Chaplain in the Royal Navy.

David Thomas a généreusement accepté d’aider Mende après une mission humanitaire collaborative entre HART et la Fondation Mende Nazer au Soudan en janvier 2016.

Il est le coordinateur des projets et de la logistique de l’ONG internationale HART (Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust) où il travaille avec la baronne Cox pendant 12 ans. Dans l’exercice de ses fonctions, il s’est rendu plusieurs fois dans les monts Nouba, la première fois en 2007. Son plus grand plaisir est de « … com–muniquer (et aider) la merveilleuse créativité, l’indépendance, l’énergie et l’intelligence des partenaires autochtones sur le terrain, des gens qui ne vont pas s’allonger et mourir, ni laisser leur peuple le faire. ». Il aime communiquer par l’entremise des mots et du théâtre. Il a été prêtre de l’Église anglicane pendant plus de 30 ans, dont 20 ans en tant qu’aumônier de la Marine royale.
