Annual General Meeting held virtually due to COVID-19

In 2021, the June 12, 2021 annual board meeting was held via Zoom. The meeting was attended by founder Mende Nazer, chair Janan Sutherland, deputy Chairman Tom Høyem, Caroline Clegg, Sabine Röser, Angela Wipper, Henning Huffer, Baroness Caroline Cox, David Thomas. Information was provided on the current situation and the clinic project was discussed and voted on. The construction of a clinic would cover the local medical needs of the village of Karko. The medical clinic will be built from stone and brick by the residents themselves. The power supply should be guaranteed by solar power. With this clinic, the residents of Karko would have basic medical care. All board members voted unanimously to build the clinic.
