Dr. Jacqueline Ribeiro

Jacqueline Ribeiro is Co-Chairwoman of the Mende Nazer Foundation.

The biggest gift an African child can have is education. These were her grandfather’s words with which she grew up. It is with this belief that Jacqueline joined the foundation — to support Mende’s powerful wish to help girls in the Nuba Mountains access education, and to improve access to healthcare and clean water in the region.

With African and European roots, Jacqueline cares deeply about communicating across cultures and building bridges between people and places. She is an engineer by training and a civil servant working with the European Commission — committed to contributing from both a personal and professional perspective.
